Happy Haulidays from Chronicle Books!

November 24, 2010

I’m not a shopper. I don’t even like shopping for books. I just like reading books. This makes “The Shopping Season” a bit glum. I always feel a bit left out.

Well, in the spirit of togetherness, I am taking on a challenge that will help you fill your stocking and help me to make some decisions. Chronicle Books just announced their Happy Haul-iday extravaganza and I thought I might play along. You say you’d like to play, too? Well, play on!

Here are the details: by posting a list (here) of Chronicle Books valued at up to $500 that I’d, ultimately, like to see sitting on my shelf (or in the arms of my friends, bloggers and family), I’m automatically entered into a drawing to WIN said list of books.  If I win, one of my lovely readers (comment on the post) will win the list, too!

So this list is a bit quirky but I thought “Hey, it’s a wish list” so I tried to pick ones I’d most enjoy (which I believe to be the point, eh?) that also might appeal to people I like. There’s a bit of fiction, a bit of travel and a bit of fun architecture. Check it out, leave a comment and wish us all luck!

Good Luck! Sounds like you have some good ones on there! I love owning my own books personally. It is like having a best friend on-call for whenever I need them. 🙂

Quirky is good too. A wonderful list. Very different–for the most part–from the ones I selected See My List Here but half the fun is seeing what everyone else has chosen.
