Weekly Wrap Up

March 3, 2019

Hello, darlings!

We have made it to another Sunday. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who has this endless love-hate struggle with Sunday night. I love my weekends and I honestly love work and school. It’s just that my weeks are so jam packed (especially Mondays and Tuesdays) that I feel like I have to take big, deep breaths around this time every week, just to get ready to spring board into the week.

This past week was kind of a frantic work and school week so the reading took a back seat. I did get a fair amount read, though, in between the raindrops so here’s the run down:

I read Kingdom of Exiles which was a fun romp that reminded me of How to Train Your Dragons.

And then I took a sharp left turn into Contemporaryville.

I finally got my butt in gear and read The Upside of Unrequited which I loved. It took me a minute to really get into but by the end, I was all but sobbing for having to leave the characters behind. Oh, Becky. Why do you always do that?

I also read This Is Kind of an Epic Love Story which I didn’t love quite as much but it was still kind of cute.

Upcoming, I’m about halfway through The Disasters which is super fast paced and fluffy but I’m digging it for the romp that it is.

I’ve found myself in the mood for really lovey dovey, mushy romances, recently and have been getting kind of burnt out on the sci-fi/Fantasy and the more angsty stuff.

If y’all have any suggestions (like just cold, hard crushes and swooning…mama needs a brain break) let me know in the comments!
