Weekly Wrap Up
Hey, there!
Last week was quite a whirlwind. School is starting to pick up speed and work has been mayhem. But I think I’m managing to keep my head above water.
Some days, I’m worried about what life will look life when school is over in a few short months. But some days, I am just ready for the rest of my life to begin.
I’ve started the grueling process of rewriting my resume and sending out letters and applications.
I think that’s why it’s been so easy to keep up with my fiction reading. Dragons and apocalyptic story lines don’t seem Leary as scary as the real, adult world.
Ok, enough of that. Here’s what my reading week looked like.
I started with the second book in the Falling Kingdoms series, Rebel Springs. It wasn’t nearly as good as the first but second books in a series always have a hard hill to climb.
And then I read Girls of Paper and Fire which was intense but a really great story about finding courage during the worst situations. It has a lot of pieces that I work with in my academic and professional life pertaining to sexual assault and violence.
I’m almost done with the ADORABLE From Twinkle with Love. It’s pretty goofy but it’s really sweet.
Heading into next week, I’ll be reading Blood Heir which I’ve heard incredible things about.
I guess that’s it until next Sunday. I hope everyone has a great week!
Your pictures are so lovely! I hope this week is a bit less hectic for you.
