TSS: Falling into Sunday

August 12, 2012

The Sunday Salon.com
Ah, ladies and gentlemen, do you feel that? I do believe we are easing our sweaty selves into the most wonderful time of the year. That’s right, it’s about to roll into Fall, folks!

I love change and transition so I have a habit of proclaiming every season I happen to be entering “my favorite”. But seriously! I do love fall. Especially this year with exciting private school applications/interviews, Kai’s first serious soccer league, a possible trip to Disney/Nana and Popi’s, our school’s awesome third annual birthday bash, my new cooking obsession (hello, soups!) and of course our very first birthday party for The Boy Who Lived!

There are so many books I’m looking forward to, this coming season that I can’t even begin to list them. I did finish two great ones (Winter Journal and Hide and Seek) this week and though they’re both very different, I highly recommend them each to their own audience.

Fall is my favorite season! Winter is second. I hope it comes early to Cali. Ugh. I’m getting tired of sweating so much. šŸ™‚ Enjoy your week.

You make me want to improve my attitude! Fall to me means hurricanes and a continuing heat that is on my last nerve! I love it right around November or December though, when I can enjoy the soups and wear a sweater. It really can’t come soon enough for me!

I love fall too, but like Sandy says, it usually takes a few more months to come on for us. I am looking forward to bike riding weather, and taking long leisurely strolls with the big dog all over the neighborhood, and maybe even the woods!
