TSS: Ladies and Germs and White Provision
Well, then! We’ve been fighting back and forth fevers between the boys, since last Thursday, ending for the little one on Sunday right before his glorious ear tubes. The older one was home until Tuesday, only coming up with a fever on Sunday afternoon but they both seemed to be feeling better from that point until last night when the little one produced a fever of 102 out of nowhere. Middle of the day arrive with a 101 for the older one after parading about as cool as a cucumber all day. I am just so tired of my tiny babies feeling yucky! Hopefully we’ll collect and reject every random virus in the metro Atlanta area, right quick and we’ll be swiftly able to move on with our summer.
We’re all in “slow down and recover” mode, right now, though we did take a lovely Father’s Day outing to the West end’s White Provision neighborhood while the boys slept. White Provision is on the oposite end of town from our neighborhood so we don’t get over there much. However, it’s a super special day when we do manage to get our sorry, east side rumps on over there. With store like Room&Board, Environment, Seed Factory and…and…and…ok, no I’m not really going to list all of the hot spots, it’s a wonder we ever leave, never mind visit so infrequently.
Other than fun, sun and germs, there is not much to report. Reading away in the Hotlanta temps, here, but that’s about all in the lovely land of us.
The germs hit us hard too last week…finally after stomach bugs were ditched, we’ve started passing around some kind of respiratory virus…a mess, isn’t it?? And, the temps? Stifling!!
Right around the end of school and the week after, all three of my family members (not me, not sure why) got the crud. Just doesn’t seem right in the summer!
