Teaser Tuesday: A Red Herring Without Mustard ~ Alan Bradley

February 14, 2012

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

His moleskin coat and his scarlet scarf flared out as he came to his feet and spun quickly around.

I am just starting this series as well. I can hardly ignore it after hearing all the praise heaped on it over the last year or so! I hope that you are loving this one!

You chose a great description for today’s Teaser. This sounds like a book I’d enjoy, especially since it’s part of a series.
Here’s my Teaser: When I read “I felt heat on my thighs” I thought something else entirely! Fairies? Vampires? Shape-shifters? Sounds like there’s a lot going on in this book!
