Going Home In PIctures.
October 14, 2011
We are officially home, folks! Finally after a month of bedrest for me and two and a half weeks of bedrest for Gavin, we are all home, sweet home. Here are my favorite shots from our journey home. The only two that need explaining are the car seat test picture from yesterday (every NICU grad needs to do a 90 minute angle test before he or she can go home) and the milk picture (milk prep had to scan out my milk to give back to me when I went home, today. I had 107 40z bottles to take home. What a parting gift!) and the rest should be just lovely little photos.
So far, ll has been successful. He is eating and sleeping well and the dogs are completely unfazed. Wish us luck on our first night!

That’s a pretty big car seat. Glad you are both home and fine.
Aw, yay! What a momentous occasion! He looks so tiny in that car seat – it’s hard to believe that he was tinier than this!
The milk picture cracked me up – it almost looks like a cafeteria tray and someone went and got lots of little containers of vanilla pudding for their lunch and nothing else.
P.S. This might be the first time I’ve seen a picture of Kellen… he’s handsome! 🙂
Yay!! He is home!! I’m so happy for you! I hope the adjustment goes smoothly. And hwat a great way to start with your milk!!!!
Glad he is home! Looks so comfy with his dad!
