BTT: And We Begin Again…

September 15, 2011

Have you ever finished a book and loved it so much you went right back and started re-reading it again?

(And obviously, if so, we want titles!)

Let’s see, I don’t think I’ve read any recently that I would say fit this bill. I know that, in the past I’ve come upon certain stories that needed an immediate return-to-Go response but those are largely mysteries that end with a huge bang. I think, to be quite honest, the book, or really series, that I’ll always keep rereading is Harry Potter which I’ve had on constant read-aloud cycle since our first son was born, three and a half years ago. there are others, I’m sure, but right now, nothing else sticks out with any great clarity.

I’ve just been given my own set of the Harry Potter books so I’m hoping to re-read them soon.

My BTT is here if you’d like a look.

I haven’t read HP yet, but watched the movies, and I can easily see how that would be a re-read. I could easily watch the movies once more.
Here’s mine if you get the chance to stop by http://killmeifistop.blogspot.com/2011/09/btt-replay.html

A lot of people seem to be answering HP here and for good reason. 🙂 It really is a wonderful series.

Visiting from BTT. My boys have read the books, I was glad they were well read when the series started and I did not have to read them. Here is my response: http://edwardsgranddaugther.blogspot.com/2011/09/b-i-b-l-e.html

Harry Potter came first to mind for me too 😉

I have never done this, but I can imagine that there are some books that I would be interested in rereading right away!

Rarely do I do an immediate reread — sometimes I’ll reread a chapter — the end often — but my rereads come when I’m craving a certain mood/flavor/place. Rebecca is a well-loved standby in my house!

I’ve read the first Harry Potter book, but haven’t moved on to any of the others yet. I’ve got a lot of catching-up to do!

Yep, HP books beg me to go right back to them. But I want to really wait for my son and then I want to read with him 🙂

ha! The only books I can think of are picture books I’ve read aloud to my kids (or those board books — GOODNIGHT MOON ten times in a row!)
