48 Hour Book Challenge: Pencils Down!

June 5, 2011

OK, folks, it’s time to wrap this up. I ended up logging about 20 hours, altogether.

That’s actually impressive for me as we had a much fuller weekend than I anticipated (insert rant about terrible issue with first ultrasound company calling us three minutes before our appointment to cancel and having to reschedule but then finding a place that saved us two hours late, thank God here). I came in just over 400 pages.

Altogether, I finished one book and got about halfway through the second.

Right, well then.

So I know I’m not exactly a heavy hitter when it comes to zipping through books but it was still such a huge chunk of a series I know would have taken me a really long time to get through in, you know, real life. I think that, in reading everyone else’s wrap up posts, I should stick to shorter, quicker books if I’m dying for the stats everyone else is putting up. Meh, stats, smats, though, you know?

Overall, this is the second reading weekend I’ve participated in during two years of blogging and I’m proud of little old me for my sophomore attempt!

Sounds like a successful 48-hour book challenge, if you were able to fit in 400 pages with all the last-minute family busyness that crept up!

It’s fun just to set aside some intentional reading time! So yeah, stats, smats! See you in October, hopefully, for the readathon.
