TSS: Week in Review
The books I finished this week were pretty wide-spread in terms of theme and genre, though, they all seemed to fit well and compliment each other, somehow:
The Dogs Who Found Me
Imperial Bedrooms
The Rebellion of Jane Clarke
On tap, I have a pretty similar, albeit, actually very different list to read:
Dogfight, A Love Story (no, actually not a dog related book, oddly)
Dog is my Co-Pilot (another compilation of dog stories, this time from the editors of The Bark magazine)
The Rules of Attraction (really different, so far, than BEE’s other books)
Promise Not to Tell (which I can’t wait to read as I’ve been dying for another McMahon)
Despite this being our busiest time of the year and hitting four months gestation with our second kiddo, I seem to have hit a reading high, lately. This is thanks, mostly in part to Brett Easton Ellis and dog stories which doesn’t surprise me much. Hopefully this up with continue.
Dogfight, A Love Story sounds intriguing…and somewhat familiar. Now I’ll have to check that one out!
I still haven’t read anything by Jennifer McMahon, but I’ve been seeing Promise Not to Tell around, and I really want to read it. I do have Dismantled, another of her books, on my stacks.
Here’s MY SUNDAY SALON POST
I’m pretty pumped about it. The writer is from Jackson Heights (Queens) so I’m pumped as I know a few folks who also grew up there. Fun!
I didn’t realize you’re pregnant! Congratulations! Have a great week in books!
Thanks so much!
I hope your reading keeps up! Take care of yourself.
