Teaser Tuesday: Lowcountry Summer ~ Dorothea Benton Frank

April 19, 2011

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“Maybe truth had soaked through the granite of his thick skull.”

~ p.58, Lowcountry Summer by Dorothea Benton Frank

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdayspost, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

LOL – love your teaser. I had to try really hard not to chuckle over this one. I read one of her books last year and enjoyed it.

This is the second one I’ve seen from this this book. I’ve had a copy for almost a year now, but haven’t gotten to it. Sounds good.
