Teaser Tuesday: The Mapping of Love and Death ~ Jacqueline Winspear

March 21, 2011

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“A map is a conduit for wonder, a tool for adventure. But it is also an instrument of power – and like all things, power has two faces.”

~ p.64, The Mapping of Love and Death by Jacqueline Winspear

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

I need to read Jacqueline Winspear too. I’ve been meaning to read her for the longest time.

My teaser this week is from a short story, something I rarely read!

Very good teaser. I will check it out. Looking at all those teassers only makes my tbr pile longer! So many books, so less time to read, so less space to keep!

Here is my Teaser Tuesday: Out At Night by Susan Arnout Smith post!
