Among the various Toy Story and I’m a Big Brother books we have collected, recently, one has stuck out as a favorite for all parties. Thomas Locker’s Water Dance is simply stunning in picture and print as it moves through the water cycle in a verbal and illustrated dance that has captured young and old in our house.

The book rolls through various bodies and forms of water from rivers to seas to mist, each with a beautiful little I statement, dancing through each one. Oh and the pictures are just beautiful.

When asked about his favorite part, Kai was quoted as remarking, “Oh, the ocean. Can we just read it, now?”
