Happy Birthday, Dr. Suess!

This month, our school will be exploring the theme of all things imagination. There will be more posts to come, on this, obviously, as imagination is so heavily tied to fiction, young, old, great and small. The kick-off celebration, though, is one that is near and dear to my heart:

Dr. Suess’ Birthday!

I thought this one was particularly appropriate since he was my first favorite writer and continues to be one of my most beloved authors to read and recommend. It also should be mentioned that he’s a good Massachusetts boy.
