C is for Cookie…

I don’t believe in flashcards or drills for babies but we do point out letters and work on phonemes at home in addition to Kai’s school work.

I must mommy-plug, here and say that my kid is pretty much a slam dunk for a future reader. We were munching on our Earth’s Best cookies the other day and he said, “Hey! This is an L for Daddy!” I said, “What?” He said, “Yes! K-E-L-L-E-N…k-ELL-en”  which is, in fact, my husband’s name.

See? Sometimes, it is good for you to eat your cookies…
