  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“You can be sure that Despereaux was terrified. Absolutely. But he spoke up anyway.”

One of my all time favorite novels. I read this in college for a children’s lit course.. and then read it to my 2nd grade class in my internship. They loved it too! 🙂

I don’t think I have ever read this one… is it a classic that I should be ashamed to admit my ignorance of?! I love the title and can totally relate to how that character feels!!!!! Looks like I have another book to add to the TBR (and I won’t have to hide the cover either!)

My teaser is up (and from a trashy romance too): http://sweetvernalzephyr.blogspot.com/2009/10/tuesday-teaser_20.html
